Description

Work Routes helps people in Kent who are unemployed, and actively seeking work, to overcome challenges and find the right job for them. We provide 1-2-1 advice and guidance as well as ongoing in work support to help people stay in employment and progress

Access to Work

Assessments for people with disabilities in work

Description

Access to Work provides free practical support, if you have a disability, health or mental health condition, to help you:start working, stay in work, move into self-employment or start a business. We deliver Access to Work across the South of England. We also offer private assessments for those who do not qualify for Access to Work.

Brighter Futures

Helping people make a positive change in their life

Description

Brighter Futures aims to help people make a change in their life, whether that be getting into work or improving their health and wellbeing. We can help you if you are out of work & have struggled to stay in work in the past, and are able to help if are out of work due to being involved in the criminal justice system, or if you simply have low confidence. It is delivered across Kent and Sussex.

Work Programme

Helping people who are out of work to secure and sustain employment

Description

Work Programme is a Department for Work and Pensions employability service delivered in partnership with G4S. Providing a consolidated series of workshops, Work Programme provides jobseekers with dynamic and specialised support into work.

Skills Training

Helping people improve their skills whether they are in work or out of work

Description

The two arms of our Skills team offers Regulated and Non-Regulated training for both unemployed - to enable them to find employment and employed - to up-skill the workforce. We offer accredited and non regulated qualifications in the following areas: Retail, Customer Service, Business Administration, Health and Social Care, Warehousing and Storage, Employability and Functional Skills in Maths, English and ICT. We offer blended learning solutions and have the capability to design bespoke courses to fit the needs of the individual as well as the employer. Whether you are looking for work or are looking to upskill your workforce we can be your perfect partner with fully funded accredited training.

Help to Work

Helping people reach their potential

Description

Help to Work is an employment project that can help you to achieve your career goals and reach your potential.

The project is for anyone who is currently unemployed. You don’t have to be on benefits to join, but you must be aged 16 or over and a legal resident with the right to work in the UK. Help to Work is delivered in the region and surrounding areas of, including but not limited to: Adur, Croydon, Brighton & Hove, Worthing, Tandridge, Mole Valley, Reigate & Banstead, Mid-Sussex, Horsham, Epsom & Ewell, Crawley, Lewes, Chichester district, Arun district.

  • Through Help to Work you will receive personalised support and access to a range of services, including:
      • Help to improve your CV and interview skills
      • Work experience opportunities and vacancies that match your skills and goals
      • Access to a wide variety of services, courses and community groups through our Help to Work websites
      • Support to build your confidence and improve your health and wellbeing
      • Self-employment advice
      • Access to vacancies that match your career goals
      • Up to six months of support once you find work to help you settle in and progress
