This is a new role within RBLI for a full time, permanent contract, based in Aylesford and working 37 hours per week
Salary: circa of £34,000 per annum, dependent upon experience
Main Purpose of the Job:
We are looking for a motivated Digital Marketing professional with a high level of technical knowledge in SEO best practises as well as experience in PPC campaigns across various channels.
The Digital Marketing Officer will be responsible for providing strategy for and implementing PPC campaigns across a variety of digital channels such as search, display and paid social ads, in addition to managing SEO requirements across the charity’s various websites, to ensure a coherent multi-channel strategy and increase visibility of the RBLI brand.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Create and execute a strategy designed to deliver against annual business objectives.
Provide insight and recommendations that will inform the company’s search strategy, campaign performance and budget allocation.
Achieve set targets for conversions and income while monitoring ROI.
Perform keyword research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and inform PPC/SEO strategies.
Set up and manage PPC campaigns, including Google Ads (search and display), for a wide range of campaigns.
Strategise, build and run paid social ads, particularly Facebook and LinkedIn.
Facilitate the necessary copy, graphics and other collateral for paid ad campaigns.
Produce regular reports and analysis of campaigns to ensure a flexible approach and inform plans for future projects.
Research and provide insight into other potential platforms to add to our strategy.
Day-to-day search analytics to inform the performance of websites, monitoring rankings.
Suggest and implement SEO recommendations and other improvements to increase the charity’s visibility.
Create and optimise website and landing page content.
Use analytics, user research and audience insight to develop and optimise activity, identifying new target audiences to engage with and drive conversions.
Keep fully up-to-date with any trends to ensure our strategy is in line with any market expectations.
Work collaboratively across the marketing and fundraising department as well as across all five divisions to provide support for their needs.
Skills & Experience Required:
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a digital marketing role.
Proven experience in PPC campaign management across search and display ads.
Established knowledge in paid social ads, particularly Facebook Ads.
Strong understanding of SEO website optimisation techniques and ways to increase rankings.
A strong understanding of all aspects of digital marketing.
Track record creating and running successful online campaigns.
Previous experience using WordPress.
A keen eye on analytic data and reporting.
Team player able to collaborate with and support internal teams’ ad hoc requests.
Able to plan and prioritise work effectively to meet set deadlines.
Positive and enthusiastic with a can-do attitude.
Marketing qualification or relevant digital qualifications.
Proficiency in reporting suites such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
Experience using keyword research tools such as Moz.
Previous use of e-mail tools such as Mailchimp, including creating e-mail automations/journeys.
