Interim Head of Corporate Governance

The Job

RBLI is looking for an interim Head of Corporate Governance, reporting directly to the Chief Executive but will work very closely with the Senior Management Team and key Heads of Department. This role will involve a range of pan-RBLI stakeholders as well as dealing with external stakeholders on behalf of members of the Senior Management Team. A successful candidate will be able to assimilate and assess information quickly and use their knowledge, experience and judgement to advise on and often then lead on implementing or negotiating solutions. The role needs a bit of an all-rounder who – knows their stuff, is able to build relationships with stakeholders, has credibility and can create the right impact to hit the ground running.

The key areas of responsibility are:

  • GDPR Data Officer
  • Lead on Governance including all reports to the Charity Commission
  • Insurance – all aspects
  • Disputes with external third parties and occasionally the more complex employment relations issues.
  • With where necessary external legal support reviewing contractual documents as and when required.

 

The Requirements

The post is available immediately and will run until 31st March 2021 as a minimum.
