Proud to be selected for the Telegraph Christmas Charity Appeal

Royal British Legion Industries are extremely honoured to have been chosen as one of the charities for The Telegraph’s Christmas Charity Appeal 2022. Every year the Telegraph showcases the hard work and dedication of a select few charities across the UK; and this year, we are extremely grateful to be one of those for our support to Armed Forces veterans and their families.

The Telegraph Charity Appeal will raise much needed funds to help RBLI provide support to veterans and their families. Current events are putting enormous strain on veterans leading to many requiring assistance with any aspect of their lives. With over 100 years of experience in supporting those who once served in the forces, RBLI is well placed to provide assistance when needed, whether its helping people who have left the forces to find employment or further training through our Lifeworks programme or assisting an elderly veteran in our specialist care facilities, we have the experience necessary to provide the support when needed.

In addition to the fantastic news of Royal British Legion Industries being chosen by The Telegraph for their annual Christmas Charity Appeal; the leading UK publication produced an article on how Tommy Club President, General the Lord Dannatt, has been fighting to help disadvantaged veterans, drawing on his own personal experiences of military conflict. Drawing on his military experience and connection with RBLI he has a first hand account of the challenges veterans face when leaving the armed forces and has seen the work RBLI does to support those in need.
