We are looking for caring, compassionate and motivated individuals to join our friendly team as Domiciliary Carers at Queen Elizabeth Court and Greenwich House, Aylesford.

Salary: £10.90 to £16.35 per hour dependent on qualifications.

Hours: are worked flexibly across Monday to Sunday

Morning shifts – 6:45am – 12:45pm

Evening shifts – 5pm – 9:30pm

What does the role involve?

To provide personal and social support and guidance for our residents in their own flats according to their care plans/support plans in enabling them to maintain as much independence as practicable.

To promote the happiness and dignity of residents at all times.

Follow care plans for residents and when required, attend to the comfort and personal appearance and hygiene of residents at all times including assistance with dressing and undressing, self-administration of medication, toileting, bathing, combing hair, assisting with dentures and hearing aids.

To ensure that you contribute, to the best of your ability, to the efficient running of the home and the creation of an atmosphere conducive to the best interests of the residents and work as part of a team.

Prepare and provide assistance to residents with eating and drinking as needed, ensuring an enjoyable dining experience for all.

Undertake a range of domestic task including but not limited to shopping, vacuuming, polishing, cleaning and tidying to ensure a clean home for our residents

Wash dry and iron residents bed linen and clothing.

Document all care given to Residents in accordance with CQC/RBLI requirements.

The job is a physical one and often requires manual handling, so a good level of fitness is required

Due to the nature of this role and the policies surrounding delivering personal care to others, you must be at least 18 years old.
