We were honoured to welcome Their Royal Highnesses Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie to Royal British Legion Industries earlier this week. We’d like to thank them for taking their time to see RBLI’s vital care, welfare and employment services delivered to Armed Forces veterans across the UK.
The Princesses came to meet veterans who have completed RBLI’s Lifeworks employability programme after supporting the course earlier in the year at The Big Curry. They learnt more about how our specialist support helps veterans at all stages of transition to rediscovering independence outside of the military.
While here Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie met veterans in our social enterprise factory, Britain’s Bravest Manufacturing Company and saw the range of Remembrance Tommy products they have created to help ensure we can continue providing meaningful employment. They also visited our assisted living facility, Queen Elizabeth Court, to meet our residents; many of whom have served our country with distinction.
